Many molecular vibrations can be selectively excited in this wavelength region. Even with an average power of up to 20 mW and a correspondingly high spectral power density, these lasers are still eye-safe. Some example laser configurations are specified below.<\/p>\n<p>The QCLs are controlled via a PC via USB port.
